Recently, I received my new electric VW ID Buzz. Very happy with it as I always like to have my belongings with me and also want to easily accommodate my dogs. For this, I created a raised loading floor with a fully extendable drawer measuring 950 mm deep and 600 mm wide. Next to the drawer, I made a space to store the ramp for the dogs. For the floor and the drawer, I used 12 mm anti-slip profile Betonplex.

How I made this project

I quickly knew what I needed and wanted to make. Since the current loading floor had simple dimensions, 1200x1000mm, a sketch wasn't necessary, and I ordered the various boards cut to size from OPMAATZAGEN.nl. I ordered two sturdy 950 mm long drawer rails from another online store, which can carry up to 80 kg. In total, I spent only a few hours assembling the kit. Finally, I mounted two sets of Bosch L-boxx brackets on top, and it was ready.
