Step by step guide

Preparation

To create space in this studio apartment, the plan was made to make a Murphy bed in the living/bedroom. In the end, it is a multifunctional cabinet in which the piano is also built in, which can slide out and a bed that can fold. The whole thing took some doing in terms of preparation because the back of the bed is also a visible side, which was perhaps the biggest challenge in designing it. Furthermore, of course, to order everything to size, for example the mattress.

Montage

The piano was later built into a sliding system, making it easy to slide out when in use. Previously it was still on the cabinet, but the window could not be opened and it was not really playable. The remaining planks were made in where necessary with the remaining material.
