Sleek low seating cabinets made of Birch Multiplex, by Koen

Description

These three cabinets for our living room are inspired by a design from a home design magazine. They are made of 18 mm Birch Plywood and sturdy enough to sit on.

Work description: how did you realize your project

The wood was sawn to size by OPMAATZAGEN.nl. The planks have been lightly sanded, varnished and then connected with glue and dowel connections.

Everything has been varnished 3 times with Skylt varnish. Quite a few square meters were required to finish painting all the planks at the same time. The guest bed was temporarily unavailable!

The Skylt lacquer makes it look like the wood is untreated, it looks very nice!

The doors are hung with kitchen cabinet hinges and the doors can be opened with a pressure system.
