This order contains 3 different projects. 1. A children's desk with drawers on wheels. 2. A bench with drawers on wheels and a tall cabinet in the hall. 3. A combined piece of furniture for our daughter's bedroom. This consists of a corner bench with square compartments underneath, a tall cabinet with compartments and a desk. The desk is made in such a way that it fits exactly under the window and replaces the windowsill. A custom-made cushion has been ordered for all benches to complete the bench.

How I made this project

The projects were initially developed in AutoCAD. All the individual parts were then placed in an Excel file and entered on the website of OPMAATZAGEN.nl. The ability to place the characteristics on it is very useful, which helps enormously with the assembly. In this way, the correct dimensions could be found. All furniture is connected by means of minifix and connecting bolts in combination with dowels. Everything is therefore demountable. Finally, the whole thing was painted and varnished.

Dimensions of my DIY project

Desk children's room: 2037 x 395 mm, height 500 mm. Bench hall: 1450 mm long and 450 mm high. Furniture bedroom: 3610 mm x 1565 mm.
