In this DIY project, Marijn shows how he made a TV cabinet himself, from custom-sawn pine wood panel. By using our sawing service, he was able to get started right away when all custom panels were delivered. The furniture also serves as a bench and reading corner for the children. How useful is that? It is a piece of furniture for under the TV that we also use to sit on when we have many guests. In the corner, a nice corner for the children has been created by adding the three cushions. The wood of the fireplace fits very nicely and gives it a sleek finish. The six wicker baskets contain rugs, equipment for the television and the internet and some other items.

How I made this project

After measuring everything, I I ordered the various pieces of pine furniture panel via OPMAATZAGEN.nl. After they arrived I put everything together without glue and screws to see if everything fit properly. Fortunately that was the case and I could get started. I glued everything together with wood glue and glue clamps. After it was dry I could sand the furniture and then install it. It is fixed to the wall.
