In this project, Niek shows how he made a custom shoe cabinet from moisture-resistant MDF. By ordering custom sawn MDF online, making a shoe cabinet yourself is an easy project to carry out.

Shoe cabinet. Also a problem with teenagers whose shoes you break your legs over every day, no matter how many times you 'ask'. to tidy them up? Even ours started using the cupboard.

How I made this project

Open cupboard from floor to ceiling. Without doors to simplify storage and to allow shoes to dry and ventilate properly. Each shelf with an opening on the wall side to prevent dust and sand build-up in the cabinet. Made of moisture-resistant MDF because of possible moisture and because you can order it in longer lengths. It took a month of hiding shoes as punishment to get even the most stubborn teenager to use the closet.
