Project Lego houses: custom floating mahogany wall shelves

Description

I have hung a number of shelves in the stairwell from the first to the second floor to store a collection of Lego houses.

It was a matter of having four planks cut to size by OPMAATZAGEN.nl. Before hanging the shelves, I provided them with three layers of furniture oil to color them nicely. All holes in the wall are pre-drilled with a wooden template so as not to damage the plasterwork. I ordered a number of slim sound carriers from Wovar and hung them on the wall. Wovar also had the correct screws in black.
