We had this shelving unit custom made for a niche in the living room and primed ourselves and then painted in black lacquer 9005 matt.
How I made this project
We just did this indoors on a large rug. The cupboard was super easy to assemble because of the numbering and then we painted it in the house with the doors open. Was great to do! Some parts, such as shelves and doors, we painted in our garage. In order not to see any seams at all in the cupboard, we wiped it closed, let it dry, sanded it and then painted over it.
