We converted our 37-year-old VW T3 into a camper. From the new bench seat, which can also be converted into a bed, to an L-shaped kitchen ladder that offers plenty of storage space.

Work description: How did you realize your project?

First of all, we drew a plan of what our conversion should look like. We started with the "L". For this, we calculated and ordered all the wooden panels to be cut to size. Once the basic framework was in place, we built the drawers. For the bench seat, we bought hinges and placed two multiplex panels on them and covered them with covers. Lastly, we made the bed box and the large cupboard in the trunk. We also drew a plan for this and then ordered the whole thing.

Final size: What are the external dimensions?

The conversion is as big as the interior of our bus.
