Description by Bas

A windowsill made in the attic under the dormer. The windowsill is made as narrow as possible because a custom-made table will also be placed there. The windowsill is equipped with insulation and multiple outlets. On the right side, an IVAR cabinet is placed, with an MDF board above it so that the windowsill runs all the way through. Outside the IVAR IKEA cabinet on the right side, an outlet is also placed. The windowsill is painted multiple times to ensure good coverage.

How I made this project

- Built a frame based on wooden beams. The wooden beams are also screwed into the floor - electrical cables looped at the points where outlets need to be - the custom-made MDF boards are attached to the frame - cut holes for the outlets with a wood drill and install/connect the outlets. Only the frames were not installed yet because it was still being painted - hung the IVAR cabinet and placed the MDF board above it - filled holes with MDF filler - cleaned the MDF with MDF wipes and lightly sanded the filled holes - primed twice (MDF primer) and finished twice.

Dimensions of my DIY project

476 length. Height of 100 cm. Depth of windowsill 10 cm.
